In preparation for the Shanghai World Expo and in order to present Shanghai as a clean and beautiful city, Nantong CIMC successfully developed a leakproof environmental container that can be automatically loaded and unloaded after years of hard efforts. This product provides a containerized solution for storing urban solid wastes. This environmental container can be seamlessly integrated with the equipment in the garbage transportation and disposal system. By the means of a vehicle-mounted mechanism, the door can be automatically opened and closed and the garbage can be automatically loaded and unloaded, and the vehicle can be completely leakproof when moving in the water of 1m depth. This solution effectively averts the "secondary pollution" in the past urban garbage transportation process, and substantially increases the efficiency of urban garbage transportation.
After the rigorous appraisal steps including technical solution examination, container prototype evaluation, container testing and practical field operation, Nantong CIMC successfully passed the appraisal of the project expert panel of Shanghai Chengtou Group Corporation and became the primary supplier for that project. By now, over 4,000 units have been manufactured. In light of the special container R&D capability of Nantong CIMC, Shanghai Chengtou Environment (Group) Co., Ltd has established the industry-university-institute strategic cooperation relationship with our company in the urban solid waste transportation business.
